The footings crew comes --and they leave.
The excavation was not quite right in the
northeast corner. We got all excited for
nothing - this might be our theme song...
August 25 - 4:00 p.m.
The penitent excavator returns (not an
easy thing to do) getting his equipment
up our road is a real operation! And
in an hour fixes the problem.
Now we can't get the footings guy back!
He has jobs lined up as far as you can see.
September 5
At last, they return and put up the forms.
But nobody delivered the rebar!
September 6
Rebar delivered, but no crew!
September 11
FINALLY! The footings crew returns and
pours the footings. Real proof we are
building a house!
