* This episode should have been called:-- Parts is Parts!
- A scantly clad girl is getting a tattoo on her cheek. --The big one.
- A man knocks out the tattooist--then the girl. He takes her for a ride in
  his van.
- The girl is found dead and her heart is missing.
- Natalie and Nick arrive on the scene and conclude that she was murdered.
- The heart was carefully removed as if to be used elsewhere.
- Nick recalls a time when a doctor friend, who played with electricity,
tried to help reverse his vampirism. --He was almost as cute as Natalie.
- At the morgue, Tracy recognizes the type of tattoo on the victim and says
she knows where it was done. --This kid is full of surprises!
- Tracy's uncle is in need of a heart and Natalie is planing on having her
knee operated on. Nat has AB negative blood, just like the dead girl.
- Hearts, parts and compatibility; do I see a trend here.
- Tracy talks about someone that might steal a heart in desperation, which
reminds Nick about his friend's fiance and the tragedy that befell her.
- Veronica was a beautiful girl with a magnificent operatic voice. She had
a chance to sing at the Royal Company in Hamburg.
- Hans was madly in love with her and would do anything for her. --Zap!
- When Hans and Veronica were leaving a party, the horses of their carriage
sensed the evil in Nicholas and they bolted. Hans was almost trampled,
but Nicholas pushed him out of the way. Unfortunately, the carriage ran
over Veronica; who had run into it's path. --A garden hose type thing!
- She was badly damaged, so the doctor and Nicholas took her to the lab.
- At the tattoo parlor, Nick discovers the tattooist tied up. Tracy checks
out the alley, where the body thief almost gets her. Nick comes out and
throws the guy down then zips away. Tracy thinks she did it. --Adrenalin!
- Back at the lab, Hans wants Nicholas to bring the dying Veronica across,
but Nicholas won't do it. --Hans gets out the electrodes.
- Natalie gets a call from her orthopedist who has scheduled her for a knee
  operation. --Beware!
- Nick promises to get her some flowers and pick her up after the surgery.
- Tracy goes to see Vachon to find out if he has heard anything about the
parts ring. He tells her that Screed told him of a group of unscrupulous
doctors that are running a multi million dollar parts ring.
- Natalie's doctor prepares her for her surgery. --Don't do it, Nat!
- LaCroix talks on the radio about how we try to avoid death; and muses
about how we try to avoid it by holding on for dear life.
- LaCroix's talk reminds Nick of how his friend was so desperate to save
Veronica, that he wanted Nick to find a fresh heart for her.
- Did Nicholas get Hans a heart for Veronica?
- Who was in need of a fresh heart in Toronto?
- Will Natalie come up short on parts, after her knee surgery?
- Who was involved in the human parts ring?
- Will Tracy ever see Nick doing his vampire stuff?

Review ** Okay, I have finally cracked! This is the fifth episode out of nine
where a young girl is brutally murdered. This time, by a group of mad doctors
with the help of the vampire underground. The only mention of vampire
involvement comes from Vachon who tells Tracy that Screed told him so; and
that is the last time vampire involvement is mentioned.

Tracy uses Vachon as a snitch in this story. So they meet in her kitchen
again--big deal! This isn't what I would call a great relationship. I wish
the writers and M.S. would decide what the heck they want from Vachon's
character. If Tracy isn't using him for information, Nick has him doing
errands. Did I miss the episode where the Inca lamia told Nick that he could
be Vachon's Master? And Vachon never wants to get involved in anything, if at
all possible. Come on guys let's use this character or send him back to
Madrid. I have scripts that use him very well, and he doesn't take away from
the other characters--so I know it can be done.

This is another time that Natalie has been used as a semi main character; and
what happens, she ends up in a clinic that just happens to have a bunch of
the parts doctors running amok.

What did I like about this episode, you may ask? The Frankenstein type back
story is very well done and looks great, also, the fun and frolic between Nat
and Nick is back--and that is at least worth two stars--I think. If I had to
break it down, I would give the very good back story four stars and the flat
front story one and a half stars. Does that work out to two stars?
